If you have only half an hour in your life to seriously consider who should be the next president of the United States, spend less than ten of those minutes on this video. 

Ron Paul is telling us the truth.  He has the experience and integrity to carry out his recommendations.  He has been the most consistent politician out there and if you plan to vote for anyone, do a bit of homework.

Looks like Bill Maher understands that Ron Paul tells the truth.  I wonder what Bill Maher thinks of the factual information presented in ZeitGeist (www.zeitgeistmovie.com) that shows clearly that 9/11 was an inside job.

The dawning realization that greed, in terrible magnitude, not religious angst, caused that tragedy is causing me to lose sleep.  I am thinking more and more that Ron Paul’s presidency may be a real answer. 

Bill Maher needs to see Zeitgeist.  The information on religion is interesting, but not necessarily relevant to the topic of 9/11, so I suggest going right to that part, 37:20 in, that discusses 9/11.  I went to Mr. Maher’s website to contact his staff, but there does not appear to be a way to do that.  So, if someone reading this knows how to get this film in front of Bill for his review and the great, fearless questions he asks of public leaders, let’s do it.  Bill Maher appears to be a rare, courageous journalist.  And the question really is (Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney, are you listening?), if 9/11 was an inside job, what are we going to do about it?

Personally, I don’t feel that casting one vote is enough, especially after the Gore/Bush election disaster.  I know that when I have done even a little I hold my head up a little higher, because I am not going to complain if I can do something.

I discovered that being a business owner or being self employed are very different ways of being.  A business owner makes key decisions and manages the business for growth beyond the ability of the business owner to do it all alone; but a self-employed person may not be managing the business effectively and instead, has a guaranteed job. 

What I like about being a business owner is the freedom I have to choose how I spend my time, both in the office and out.  I feel my family benefits more than if I were working for someone else, however, the advantages I thought I would have in terms of taxes are just not there.

I did the calculation including income taxes, sales taxes, gasoline, and property taxes and I concluded that I am at an effective tax rate of 52%.  How about you?

Even though I own my own business, I am still struggling under a couple of hundred years of legislative add-ons and bright ideas.  I am ready for a change.

What concerns me today is what if we have another President who just keeps running up our bills?  I just learned that the Federal Reserve is like a private business which earns interest on the money it prints.  So, in addition to the huge debt we have as a country, our dollar is worth less and less as more are being printed with an added price tag of interest.  Where does this stop?

So far, Ron Paul is the only candidate who is actually saying something different.  Too many Democrat and Republican candidates sound like they just want their turn at the wheel and plan to keep driving in the same direction.

I have decided to be fearless about this and put a yard sign out.  Ron Paul for President.  It has been said that you cannot change just one thing.  With Ron Paul, the only thing that will change is everything.
